Technical Trainer

Follett School Solutions has an immediate opening for a Technical Trainer.
The Technical Trainer will develop and deliver trainings to our customers and Follett associates on advanced product functionality and technical tools.
This position also functions as a subject matter expert, providing best practice advice and trouble-shooting assistance.
Responsibilities include:
Partner with Follett Software customers to ensure they obtain the highest level of value using our solutions.
Conduct presentations, consultations, facilitations and training in an attentive, professional, courteous, and responsive manner Effectively prepare, deliver and follow-up on all engagements and initiatives ensuring quality and delivering to budget.
Effectively collaborate with other FSC teams to meet deadlines and effectively service our customers.
This includes analyzing and communicating problems, errors, issues, and potential product enhancements to other team members and team leaders.
Function as a subject matter expert and consultant, providing best practice advice.
Assume a lead role providing support to customers in the use of our solution to complete their annual student scheduling process.
Manage communications to customers for training.

This includes delivering introductory webinars, leading multi-day trainings and interactive workshops, and providing post-workshop support.
Distribute the calendar to all training contacts listed in Pando, respond to questions from first time schedulers, manage the scheduling and re-scheduling of districts Manage communications to customers for training.
Manage all admin aspects of Hingham-based trainings/workshops (p.
o.
, headcount, office setup, training room) Manage non-contract training requests Monitor aspen-training mailbox and manage distribution list for invitations Job Requirements Minimum 3 years experience in software training and adult learning.
Experience should include - minimum 3 years, preferably 5 years Bachelors Degree in Communications, Business, Education, Instructional Technology, or relevant experience Software product training experience for external B2B customer segments.
Ability to understand technical concepts and relay information to a non-technical audience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
