A custodial worker must maintain assigned buildings in a state of operational excellence such that they present no interruptions, distractions, or obstacles to the education program.
Qualifications ? Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent ? Experience in performing custodial and maintenance functions ? Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
? Good mechanical aptitude ? Heating and ventilation experience ? Strong work ethic and good initiative ? Interpersonal skills and strong independent judgment ? Excellent written and oral communication.
? Ability to use technology effectively.
? Current authorization to work in the United States - Candidates must have such authorization by their first day of employment.
Responsibilities Perform custodial duties both interior and exterior of building by maintaining standards of cleanliness, sanitation, orderliness, and safety.
Notify supervisors concerning major and minor repairs Accept instructions from head custodian/supervisor verbally or in writing Provide services as necessary to support curricular and extracurricular events and activities Assist visiting members of the public who are utilizing the facilities Work on call as needed any time for emergency repairs, equipment monitoring, overtime, or special needs falling outside of normal working hours Respond to:
