Role DescriptionNew England Medical Group is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for an on-site role located in Hingham, MA.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide advanced nursing practice care to patients within the Psychiatry Department.
The role involves assessing and managing patients with diverse psychiatric disorders (adolescents and some adults) including substance use disorders and mental health disorders in a collaborative team environment.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will work with other healthcare providers, to provide exceptional care, and to improve the quality of life of our patients.
Qualifications Master's degree in Nursing and a Post-Master's Certificate from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
Licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Massachusetts, prescribing DEA licenseand Board Certification in Psychiatry A minimum of 2 years of experience in Psychiatric or Behavioral Health nursing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well within a team and work well with patients with diverse psychiatric and cultural backgrounds.
Strong clinical knowledge and experience in the treatment of psychiatric disorders and substance use disorders, as well as psychotherapy, behavioral modification and medication management.
Recommended Skills Behavioral Medicine Clinical Works Communication Medication Administration Mental Diseases Nursing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
