Position:
Mechanical Inspector/Quality Control Technician We are seeking a Mechanical Inspector with 3
years of experience and/or training.
Theindividual selected for this crucial position will perform assigned activities for the QualityAssurance Team.
Using various inspection techniques and methodologies will verify adesignated part's physical characteristics, including, but not limited to, height, width,length, inside and outside diameter, etc.
Requirements:
o Must have exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills; self-motivated andable to work with minimal supervision.
o Broad knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical inspection, including the use ofprecision inspection tools.
o Ability to read and decipher mechanical drawings.
o Excellent time management skills and ability to complete assignments in a timelymanner.
o Basic computer skills.
Responsibilities:
o Verify receipt of materials against accompanying paperwork and in the ERPsystem.
Verify quantities received, lot number, revision, and conduct aninspection.
o Inspect parts, assemblies, and finished products to drawings and specificationsat incoming inspection and at final production inspection acceptance.
o Visual and mechanical, functional and/or electrical inspection of product in theproduction assembly process through final systems assemblyo Complete inspection documentation which indicates work order progress andresults summaryo Apply established inspection procedures and use appropriate inspection toolsand instruments while maintaining inspection and testing records.
o Co-ordinate with the Quality Manager all activities to address the disposition ofnon-conforming materials.
o Process nonconformance forms for items that fail inspection.
o Comprehensively document the defect using written description as well asdigital photographs as necessaryo Enter information into the ERP system to transfer materials from the QAInspection area.
o Recommend and implement inspection and receiving related proceduralimprovement.
o Recommendations to improve inspection methods, fixtures, or tools.
o Recommendations for modifications to parts to correct frequently observeddefects.
o Work with the Quality Manager on planning and monitoring incoming materialsinspection, prepare for uneven incoming volume, and propose plans to keepstock in inspection to shorten turnover.
Employment with Massa Product Corporation may require an individual to obtain a U.

Security Clearance.
Cleared individuals must be U.

Citizens, pass a backgroundcheck successfully, and consent to a non-disclosure agreement.
