Position:
Chief Financial Officer We are seeking an experienced, high-functioning Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to work IN PERSON alongside a busy company's Senior Treasurer, Financial Team, President, Technical, and Executive Teams.
This person is much needed and will become an important part of a fast-growing business.
This person must have strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills, strong people skills, and a desire to learn about, grow, and manage the work we do at Massa.
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, including a minimum of 3 years in a management role.
The preferred candidate will possess a bachelor's or master's degree in business administration (MBA) and a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting.
Professional accreditation, such as a certified public accountant (CPA) or certified management accountant (CMA), is preferred.
The candidate must possess a knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and a knowledge of government accounting and manufacturing accounting.
Candidates for this position will be considered if they have held positions of increasing responsibility within an accounting department, such as director of finance, director of accounting, or controller.
Specific Job Duties shall include but not be limited to:
o Overseeing financial systems implementations and upgradeso Managing relationships with investment institutionso Identifying and managing business risks and insurance requirementso Engage the Board of Directors to develop short-term and long-term plans, projections, and budgets.
o Oversee preparations of documents for Board finance committee meetings.
o Represent the organization to banks, financial partners, institutions, auditors, and officials.
o Remain current on audit best practices as well as local, state, and federal laws regarding organization operations.
o Be responsible for DCAA Relations and represent the Company in DCAA Audits & Managing or oversee the relationship with independent auditors.
o Oversee cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability.
o Oversee cash, investments, and asset management area.
o Oversee daily cash management and accounts payable operations.
o Serve as the organization's designated signing official on financial documents.
o Maintain outstanding banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners.
o Work together with different departments on the accounting side of the business, especially Program Management, Sales, Supply Chain, and HR o Oversee cost analysis of organization activities.
o Conduct ongoing surveillance of risk areas and ensure the organization and its assets are appropriately protected by insurance products, including but not limited to general liability, workers' compensation, professional liability, and directors' and officers' liability coverages.
o Oversee preparation of monthly financial reports, including the monthly statement of activities and budget vs.
actual by divisionso Oversee preparation of cash flow projectionso Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations.
o Develop and maintain a monthly and annual operating budget.
o Manage financial planning and supervise the creation of reports, utilizing appropriate software and tools for budgeting and reporting.
o Utilize forward-looking models and activity-based analyses to provide financial insight into the organization's plans and operating budgets.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
